The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a 501c3 organization and a member of the prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League. Our mission is to provide affordable entertainment to the Upper Valley, aid our players and staff in the betterment of their careers, and to raise awareness for other local non profit organizations.
We are seeking individuals that have an interest in the business of sports management, advertising, event management, or marketing and sales. If you are a motivated and hardworking individual with a passion for baseball and community, we would like you to join us for a summer of learning and fun.
As an intern you will have the opportunity to experience and learn all aspects of running a sports and entertainment franchise. You will interact with fans, sponsors, players, and coaches in some or all of the following areas:
Communications Manager (FILLED)
Point of contact for all Nighthawks communication and media needs (NECBL, local media, TV)
Participate in content creation and assist in management of Nighthawks social sites
Create promotional schedule in coordination with On-Field Host and President
Promotions (FILLED)
Street Team activities, including mascot/player appearances
Recruit new and manage existing fundraising partners
Design promotional calendar for themed nights
Game Day Operations (Available)
Promotions & entertainment
Pre-game preparation & volunteer management
Gate coverage, fan welcoming, visibility, ushering
Private party hospitality service
Post-game clean up and tear-down
Player Development / Analytics (FILLED)
Management and maintenance of player development systems (Trackman and Synergy)
Gathering and maintaining statistical information to assist field staff and players
Game day camera setup, filming, and video production
Upload game data to online servers
Social Media Manager (FILLED)
Oversee successful management of Nighthawks social sites (FB, IG, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube)
Create graphics for various uses throughout each game day
Collaborate with video and communications interns to create new content
